Self-exclusion Policy

Purpose and Scope

Herake's Self-Exclusion Policy provides players with a formal mechanism to restrict access to all gaming services offered by Herake for a defined period or indefinitely. The policy applies to all accounts held by a player and to any linked accounts identified under our risk-control framework. During self-exclusion, the player is prevented from opening new Herake accounts, placing bets, or redeeming promotional offers.

Definitions

  • Self-Exclusion: The voluntary prohibition from participating in any games on the Herake platform for a stated period or permanently.
  • Cooling-Off Period: A temporary pause from play with automatic reactivation at its conclusion, as specified for jurisdictions where available.
  • Linked Accounts: Accounts that are held within the same household, share devices, IP addresses, payment methods, or other environments that Herake reasonably associates with a single player.

Initiating Self-Exclusion

To initiate self-exclusion, a player must log in to their Herake account and navigate to the Self-Exclusion page. The player may select a fixed exclusion period from the following options: six months, nine months, or twelve months. For residents outside the United Kingdom, the selected period applies and the account will automatically reactivate at the end of the period. For residents of the United Kingdom, self-exclusion is effective for a minimum of six months, after which reactivation requires direct confirmation from Herake Customer Support. During self-exclusion, the player will be unable to create or access any Herake account.

Duration, Reactivation and Reinstatement

Non-United Kingdom residents: upon expiry of the selected self-exclusion period, the player's Herake account will automatically reactivate and normal access resumes without further action.

United Kingdom residents: after the minimum six-month period, the player must contact Herake Customer Support to reinstate access; reactivation will occur only upon confirmation from Support and possible verification steps.

Consequences of Self-Exclusion

  • During a self-exclusion period, the player will be excluded from all games on the Herake platform and will not be able to deposit or withdraw funds.
  • Participation in any ongoing promotions, loyalty rewards, or prize draws is suspended for the duration of the exclusion, and any previously issued but unredeemed prizes or invitations may be withdrawn or forfeited in accordance with our terms.
  • Herake will treat accounts linked to the player as part of the same exclusion scope; associated accounts, household members, shared devices, email addresses, payment addresses, IP addresses, or shared environments will be prevented from access and will be barred from promotions for the exclusion period.

Cooling-Off Periods (UK Residents)

UK residents may request a cooling-off period of 24 hours, 1 week, 3 weeks, or 6 weeks. To initiate, contact Herake Customer Support or access the Self-Exclusion page while logged in. At the end of the cooling-off period, the Herake account will automatically reactivate unless the player has extended the self-exclusion or chosen an alternative period.

Additional Safeguards and Other Provisions

Herake reserves the right to close a player's account if it reasonably believes that continued gambling participation would cause financial or personal difficulties. A closed account may not be reopened by the same individual. If a player opens a new account after closure, Herake assumes no liability for any losses arising from such action.

Data Handling

Self-exclusion data and related personal information are processed in accordance with Herake's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. The data will be used solely for enforcement of self-exclusion and related eligibility controls and may be shared with regulatory authorities as required by law.

How to Contact Support

For questions or to initiate self-exclusion beyond the in-page Self-Exclusion tool, contact Herake Customer Support through the official support channels available within the Herake platform. Requests submitted via non-primary support channels may be redirected to the formal process.

Governing Law and Updates

This Self-Exclusion Policy is governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the player is located and by Herake's Terms and Conditions. Herake reserves the right to amend this policy, and updated terms become effective two weeks after notice is provided to players via the platform.
